Datil Pepper

Some say it Originated in Chile, this pepper is Blazing hot. At 3.5-inch long, these fruits ripen to a brilliant orange yellow. The heat can be vicious, being comparable to a habanero but the flavor is more complex, sweeter and more fruity. Renowned pepper originating from St. Augustine, Florida. Local legend says they were brought there from Spain, where they do enjoy a following in Minorca. However, they may also have originated in Chile. Click here for more info.
